How Koshh works
Mark. Verify. Etch.
Each BIP-39 word has an index number from 1–2048. Koshh stores that number as a pattern on the plate, so the recovery word itself does not need to be written on the metal.

Find and mark the pattern
Find each seed word in the BIP-39 list, take its index number and temporarily mark the corresponding value boxes on the correct row.
02 · Verify
Reconstruct before you commit
Add the marked values in every row, recover the corresponding word from the list and confirm the complete phrase matches your original exactly.
03 · Etch
Make it permanent
Only after verification, use the supplied etching tool to permanently punch each marked box into the metal.
